Podcasting

H3 Last Week is my weekly recap series about the H3 Podcast — think of it as a lovingly chaotic highlight reel with a throughline. I write, host, edit, and produce every episode myself, using green screen setups, animated elements, and structured segments to make sense of 10+ hours of internet nonsense.

A Mad Man with a Box

As the longest running science fiction television show in history, Doctor Who has a very large and very diverse fanbase. So in 2012 I decided to create a podcast where I could give myself the opportunity to talk to some of those fans about why they love the show like I do. In the beginning, guests choose any episode of the show from the past fifty years and we spend time analyzing and discussing the episode. It has since evolved into current episode reviews, topical discussions and more. Currently resting while Doctor Who itself is shooting new episodes to air soon, this podcast will be back sometime around Comic Con 2014.

The Doctor Who Podcast

I was quite honored when I was asked to become a regular co-host of the UK's most popular podcast about Doctor Who. The DWP, as we affectionately call it, is almost a variety show type podcasts. Episodes range from straight up reviews of episodes to quizzes to interviews. You never know what you are going to get in an episode, but the listeners apparently love it which is evidenced by the very large number of regular listeners.

A Nice Man in a House

My Mad Man co-host and I started this Downton Abbey themed podcast as a bit of a laugh, purely for our own fun. We will be starting it up again very soon.

Brave Nerd World

Now defunct, this podcast featured myself and co-host Heidi Hilliker navigating the world from the viewpoints of two nerds. Covering topics such as "Dating for Nerds" and "What horror movie killer would win in a battle royale?" we hoped to helped other nerds like ourselves understand and cope with the crazy world around them.

In addition to my podcast hosting I sometimes interview folks at conventions. Here are some highlights:
